eBooks: HOME

ALL ANZCA Library's e-books are now searchable via the library's discovery service. Simply enter a keyword search for a particular title or topic, and select the  button to access the full-text.

Searching for a specific title? Try selecting the In Title option from the search box drop-down when searching within the discovery service.

Want to refine a result list to show just e-books? Then simply select the eBook option in the Resource Type section of the left sidebar:

The discovery service collapses all the different editions and formats (print and e-book) into a grouped or representative record.

Be default, the record displayed is usually for the most recently held item.

Different (older) editions and print holdings can be accessed in several different ways:

1. Select an alternate edition or alternate format using the links in the More local formats section:

2. By deselecting the Group related editions tick box in the top-left corner of the screen - this will then display all held editions/formats seperately:

3. Alternatively, the user can select the View all editions & formats link on the search results screen or within the "representative" item title navigate to the Editions & Formats section and toggle the panel to display ALL the editions for this title, including those Held by: ANZCA Library:

User profiles can be used to download book chapter PDFs, save searches, create alerts and enable mobile access for the ClinicalKey app.

1. Log into ClinicalKey Australia using the proxied ANZCA link (users will be required to authenticate using their ANZCA ID and password)
2. Select the Register link from the top-right of  screen
3. Complete the registration form:
   • First name
   • Family name (surname)
   • Email
4. Click the Register > button when complete

It is possible to download most book chapters within ClinicalKey to read offline.

In order to download PDFs, you will need to create a separate ClinicalKey user profile [personal account] (see separate section). Once created, just log into using the link in the top-right of screen.

Note: This does not apply to journal article PDFs.
