Procedures Endorsement Program

In early 2021 the Faculty of Pain Medicine launched a pilot procedural pain medicine skills training and endorsement program for practising FPM fellows. Note: This program is now ongoing.

The program enables us to recognise our fellows' competence in providing safe and high quality care, encompassing the selection, performance and follow-up of procedures within the sociopsychobiomedical paradigm.

The process of endorsement involves fellows demonstrating their competency and adherence to the Procedures in Pain Medicine Clinical Care Standard, which articulates what is considered to be the appropriate and safe use of procedures in the practice of pain medicine.

What to expect from the guide

The guide has been structured into two sections.

PEP ePortfolio

The online portfolio system allows endorsees to access their logbook, online assessment forms and a number of data reports in the one system. Note: You will need to log in to access the system.
