LibKey Nomad++ Trial (2024)

The LibKey Nomad browser extension gives you fast, one-click access to articles from ANZCA’s subscribed journal content *anywhere* on the web. Once installed on your browser, it instantly lets you know if the article you’re trying to access is available full-text via the ANZCA Library. Last year this helped our users access over 8000 articles.

This year the library is trialling LibKey Nomad++ which extends the core functionality of LibKey Nomad giving our users an enhanced access experience outside of the college website.

ANZCA-branded Provided by “button” – lets you know when the journal content on the web page you are currently on can be accessed using your ANZCA credentials.
On screen messaging and prompts – if you visit any online resource where ANZCA library has set up access, you will be prompted to authenticate, allowing you to access the full range of services available via that site. This includes journal sites such as LWW, e-book sites such as Cambridge Online, and resource sites such as Therapeutic Guidelines and Trip. We’ll even let you know if we have access via a different platform, such as with The Lancet and BJA Education.
New citation tool – use the mortar cap icon in the LibKey button to download citations to your preferred citation manager.
Enhanced PubMed experience – view journal covers and in-line full-text access buttons •

ANZCA: LibKey Nomad++ Library Guide
LibKey Nomad++ allows web users to easily access and read journal articles found anywhere on the web. It also allows for easy requesting of articles where there is no full-text access, and provides on screen messaging where access is available through a different site.

The college is extending its trial for Neuromodulation till the end of 2024.

Perfusion is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal, providing current information on all aspects of perfusion, oxygenation and biocompatibility and their use in modern cardiac surgery.

Perfusion is an ISI-ranked, peer-reviewed scholarly journal, which provides current information on all aspects of perfusion, oxygenation and biocompatibility and their use in modern cardiac surgery. The journal is at the forefront of international research and development and presents an appropriately multidisciplinary approach to perfusion science.

Neuromodulation provides timely and rigorously peer reviewed articles on the technology, science and clinical application of devices that interface with the nervous system to treat disease and improve function. Neuromodulation covers an ever expanding field including pain, headache, movement disorders, spasticity, paralysis, psychiatric disorders, epilepsy, sensory deprivation, gastric dysfunction, obesity and incontinence.
