Training in Professional Skills (TIPS) (RACS)

Communications Course

The CICM Communications Course is a mandatory two day program specifically designed to provide currently registered CICM trainees with the skills required to communicate effectively with patients, families and colleagues in the ICU setting. The program includes planning and conducting family meetings, negotiating effectively with colleagues and maintaining respectful communication under pressure.
