What to expect from the guide

The guide has been structured into three sections.

The first section contains some useful information for those just starting their course

The second section is composed of three main categories (or tabs) covering the course curriculum:

Within each category you will find e-books, journals, articles, podcasts and videos, websites, as well links to other supporting guides.

The third section is comprised of three additional categories (or tabs):

These resources are predominantly e-books and multimedia resources with some supporting websites and articles.

Rural generalist anaesthesia Program Description: The focus of the MCQ examination is on the learning and assessment of safety in anaesthesia practice and consists of 50 questions randomly selected from an MCQ bank. Trainees will have the opportunity to work through questions related to the learning outcomes and then apply and pay for the MCQ examination when they feel ready to do so. Learning outcomes that will be assessed by the MCQ examination are located within the clinical fundamentals. Trainees must successfully complete the examination within the first 26 weeks FTE of the training program.
Scholar role support resources These resources have been developed to: Assist trainees meet the requirements of the revised scholar role competencies in the re-released curriculum.
