Compliance with CPD is a requirement in Australia for specialist registration by the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) and in Aotearoa New Zealand for recognition in a vocational scope of practice by the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).
CPD Exemption or Variation Policy
NEW - replaces Special Consideration Policy
As CPD is a registration standard and a recertification requirement, regulations relating to an exemption or variation to CPD are set by the MBA and the MCNZ.
