Fellowship


A large number of resources are available to support both fellows and the wider anaesthetic specialist community.


Continuing professional development (CPD)


All specialist anaesthetists and specialist pain medicine physicians are required to​ participate in a continuing professional development (CPD) program.



Specialist interest groups (SIGs)


Anaesthesia Continuing Education (ACE) is a partnership between ANZCA, the Australian Society of Anaesthetists and the New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists.

Medical indemnity insurance


In Australia, it is compulsory for all registered health professionals to hold medical indemnity insurance under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009.
