UOS03-CASS1: Case analysis activity
The purpose of CAAS part I is to assess the participant’s ability to identify the optimisation and prehabilitation needs of a simulated patient and to respond to questions related to the case.

NICE Guideline: Falls in Older People: Assessing Risk and pPrevention by
This guideline provides recommendations for the assessment and prevention of falls in older people. It is an extension to the remit of NICE guideline CG21 (published November 2004) to include assessing and preventing falls in older people during a hospital stay (inpatients). The new recommendations for older people in hospital (2013) sit alongside the original recommendations from the 2004 guideline. It is important to emphasise that all of the 2004 recommendations are just as relevant and important now as they were when they were originally published.
NICE Guideline: Parkinson’s Disease in Adults by
This guideline covers diagnosing and managing Parkinson's disease in people aged 18 and over. It aims to improve care from the time of diagnosis, including monitoring and managing symptoms, providing information and support, and palliative care.
