Clinical governance

  • Active contribution of time to an institutional professional governance or an international society or organisation (either healthcare institutions or professional bodies) relevant to scope of practice.

  • It can be a series of meetings and/or work completed, either virtually or face-to- face, with the objective of supporting the governance decisions relating to the healthcare institution or professional body.

  • Undertake clinical governance enquiries on what is the best method of measuring success.
  • Perform governance decisions around a new styles of meetings.
  • Perform a review of patient data for accuracy and measure the quality of outcomes to inform governance decisions.
  • Partake in patient safety and quality improvement systems.
  • Implement successful care provider checklists
