ANZCA & FPM CPD Program resources: Short format learning

The purpose of this guide is to provide fellows and CPD Program participants with information, suggestions and resourcing support specific to each of the programs activities. The target audience is those with clinical roles.

Activity: Short format learning Knowledge & skills

Short course, workshops, problem-based learning discussions and small group discussions

  • Participate in face-to-face or virtual small group learning which may include teaching or learning a new skill, and which has an interactive and/or hands on component.

  • Participate in the ANZCA Educators Program (AEP)
  • Participate in an ACE meeting workshop
  • Complete a scientific meeting workshops - including ANZCA ASM workshop or ASA NSC workshop
  • Complete a problem-based learning discussion sessions
  • Complete a Regional Anaesthesia skills course
  • Complete an IV cannulation course
  • Attend a Perioperative Advanced Communication Skills (PACS) workshop
  • Undertake an ASA Communications Workshop - for example: Dealing with Difficult People
