Clinical governance/quality assurance committee work

Participate in committee work relevant to your scope of practice which contributes to broader safety and quality of patient care by:

  • reviewing clinical care outcomes or activities which support clinical care outcomes
  • reviewing guidelines, standards, performance data, incident data or monitoring implementation of recommendations/actions taken to support relevant safety and quality outcomes.

  • Participate in an accreditation committee
  • Participate in a clinical governance committee
  • Participate in a clinical outcome review committee
  • Participate in a medication and blood safety committee
  • Participate in a regional/national mortality committee
  • Participate in in a safety and quality committee
