Review of patient care pathways

  • Active participation in projects to review and redesign (including co-design) patient care pathways.

  • Includes literature review, pathway mapping, deconstruction, and reconstruction, using co-design principles which centre the patient experience.

  • Participate in the design/re-design/co-design of patient care pathways
  • Co-ordinate a clinic to review patient care processes
  • Audit a practice guideline
  • Create an outsourcing pathway for elective procedures
  • Review a patient care pathway for a scope sub-specialty - for example: hip and knee replacements
  • Participate in a patient pathway for pre-operative assessment group
  • Undertake regular meetings to discuss patient pathways
  • Review a patient-related questionnaire
  • Review a drug management pathway
  • Participate in Q-Flow training presentation
